Adelina Sorice grew up in the small village of Avellino, near Naples, in a house surrounded by farmland.

A love story of Italian flavors

Adelina's culinary journey began not in her childhood, but after she married. With no formal training and only the memories of her mother's hands at work, she threw herself into the kitchen. Inspired by the dishes of her childhood, she cooked with an intrepid heart. Nonno, her devoted husband, found recipes, and together they brought the flavors of Italy to life, one dish at a time. Her very first cooked meal? Spaghetti with tomato sauce and meatballs!

For Adelina, cooking isn't just about feeding others; it's her way of bringing her loved ones together, a practice she perpetuates every day.

Avellino: hills, vineyards and traditions

Avellino, nestled in the Campania region of southern Italy, is a charming, rustic region surrounded by rolling hills and picturesque landscapes. Renowned for its vineyards, olive groves and fertile farmland, Avelino embodies the traditional, peaceful lifestyle of rural Italy.

In Avellino, life revolves around community and family gatherings, often centered around food and wine from the local harvest. The area is also rich in history, with ancient churches, monasteries and small piazze. The air is infused with the aromas of fresh herbs such as basil, rosemary and oregano, which grow in abundance in these fertile lands.

The ingredients that make all the difference!

Semolina flour

Our dough starts with farina di semola, made from the finest protein-rich durum wheat. A source of iron, magnesium and fiber, this flour is at the heart of Italian tradition, offering a texture that's both firm and tender, and a golden color that evokes the sunny fields of Italy. Its slow-digesting carbohydrates provide long-lasting energy, while its coarser grains allow sauces to adhere perfectly to each strand, bringing a true taste of Italy to every bite.

San Marzano tomato sauce

We use only the legendary San Marzano tomatoes, grown in the volcanic soils of Campania, giving them a distinctive sweetness and unique depth of flavor. Rich in lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that promotes heart health and reduces inflammation, they are also an excellent source of vitamins A and C. Their freshness and naturally balanced acidity mean we never need to add sugar - Authentic Italian.

Parmesan wheel

Our Grana Padano, carefully matured to perfection, is freshly grated straight from the wheel to reveal its rich, nutty, buttery flavor. A true Italian treasure, this cheese is a precious source of calcium, phosphorus and protein, essential for strong bones and enhanced vitality. Low in lactose but intense in flavor, even a pinch is enough to bring an explosion of umami that instantly transports you to Italy.
